Writing: Voice

1.       They say that a picture can tell a thousand words.  The captured images tell a story about the people, a time, or a situation.  Today we will be working with one of the six-traits of writing.

2.     VOICE:
o    What does it mean to put your voice in your writing?                   VOICE shows your personality when writing. The writing has a sound different from everyone else's. It has feeling and emotion so that it does not sound boring. The reader should be able to tell if you are happy or sad. The writer should be writing from the heart and bring the topic to life for the reader.

3.     You will look at the image and put yourself in the shoes of one of the protagonists in the picture.  Your text should be at least ten sentences long. Explain what you are thinking (You are the person in the photograph).  Tell your reader (me) what is happening.

*When you are finished with your assignment, email it to me for revision.  You will make the necessary corrections and post it to the BLOG.
